Book Review: The Others by Kristin Bryant

Disclosure: I received a copy of this book for review purposes, all opinions are mine.

Kristin Bryant is an Orange County mom just like me.

But Kristin is fighting an extraordinary battle with breast cancer,
and will not let it get her down!
In the midst of her trial she has written a beautiful story
all about love's ability to transcend all barriers.

The Others tells the remarkable story of
a dangerous adventure to save a distant world.
Ryen is just a normal guy trying to do his job,
to find anwers to his world's most critical questions.
Unfortunately that job includes trying to save
his distant world on the brink of disaster.
Savannah is a beautiful girl with a troubled past.
She and Ryen are drawn together,
each unaware of the other's attentions.

While searching Earth for a mythic figure, a savior,
who would live a perfect life and ultimately die to save their souls,
Ryen can't help but fall in love with Savannah.
As his time runs out, Ryen must decide if he is willing
to give up everything he has ever known and loved
to stay on Earth with Savannah.
The Masters, a powerful clan of corrupt leaders,
are plotting to take back Earth, the sacred planet, from the humans,
and Ryen and Savannah are thrust into the middle of The Masters' plot.

The Others is filled with all the elements of a great book.
Love and adventure, suspense and tragedy.
The premise is original, but contains familiar elements
of family and friendship that binds us to the characters.
I found myself rooting for the champions and booing the enemy
while turning each page as quickly as I could!
I stayed up late at night to find out what would happen next!

I am so excited that one of you gets to win a copy of this fantastic story
and a gift card just in time for holiday shopping!

GOOD LUCK!
