Last night was our annual Handmade Halloween Party!
(Invite designed by Funky Polkadot Giraffe)
You can't have a party without yummy snacks!
And they must be in cute buckets.
I made everyone a caramel apple smothered in Ghirardelli chocolate
and rolled in crushed candy corn m&m's!
All the ladies brought a yummy festive treat!
We had a puking pumpkin, pumpkin deviled eggs, bacon-wrapped dates,
pumpkin cookies, muffins, apples with caramel dip, and my husband's Twix caramel corn!
Then it was time to craft!
I had my friends at Home Depot cut a couple 2x4's into pieces.
Then I spray painted them orange...pumpkin orange!
We sanded the edges down a little for a shabby chic look.
And mod-podged the letters FALL onto the pumpkin blocks!
My husband cut a dowel into little stem-like pieces,
and we glued them on the top of our blocks with E-6000.
We had so much fun chatting and making our pumpkin blocks!
Tie a little raffia around the stems when the glue dries and display proudly!
P.S. If you want to purchase these blocks instead of making them yourself,
see our inspiration HERE at this fun Etsy shop!
HAPPY HANDMADE HALLOWEEN!
