Knott's Berry Farm invited me to be a part of the Grand Opening celebration
of their Boardwalk expansion and the Timber Mountain Log Ride!
The band was on hand to entertain us while we waited for the ceremony to begin!
The ribbon cutting ceremony involved a boysenberry taffy ribbon of course!
That's one ribbon I wouldn't mind eating!
I had been anxiously awaiting riding the three new attractions
since I took the hardhat tour last month!
My girlfriends and I had such a ball zooming around the track of Coast Rider
and flying through the air on Surfside Gliders!
The Pacific Scrambler amazed me with how fast we were spinning around!
SO MUCH FUN!!!
Then it was time for the Grand Re-Opening of the Timber Mountain Log Ride!
John Wayne's son, John Ethan, was there just as we was with his father
when the ride was originally opened in 1969!
The log ride will always be one of our favorites, and we were excited
to experience all the new animatronics and scenes inside
along with our favorite big drop!
