Last weekend I ended up in the hospital for a couple days with an infection.
It was kind of like a mini-vacation with morphine.
And while I was there, I noticed my hair was coming out.
As soon as they sprung me from the hospital I called my good friend Christy to help me out!
I absolutely adore her house because she's got 6 kids and it's always a party, with ice cream!
Kelsey thought it was great fun to cut my hair.
I will have to hide the scissors at home before she tries to give anyone else a haircut!
It kept getting shorter and shorter!
It was hard to see it go but kind of a relief since I knew it was coming.
I had to retrieve Jeremy from the Lego wonderland he was in to take a turn.
He was so cute, so in awe of what he was doing.
And then we got silly.
And I released my inner Flock of Seagulls.
And then it was gone.
Thank you Christy for making one of the hardest parts into an amazing memory for me and my family.
I could not do this journey without the amazing people that surround me and lift me up every day.
I have cancer.
It's still so unreal.
It's like a bad dream that I wake up to every day.
But I am still the luckiest cancer girl ever.
XOXO
