and it's especially fun at the Irvine Park Railroad!

In one month, the Easter Bunny arrives at your house, 

but you can find him March 5th - 26th at the Irvine Park Railroad Easter Eggstravaganza!

 Along with coming to see the Easter Bunny, there are also lots of other things to do, 

like getting your face painted, hay rides, bounce houses, 

cookie decorating, carnival games and the Easter Egg Hunt!

You can bring your own basket or purchase one when you get there!

No matter how old my kids get, they always look forward to riding the train!

It is a tradition that they will always remember.

GIVEAWAY: Irvine Park Railroad Christmas Train!

Can you feel the excitement??

It's that time of year again and we can't wait to visit the Irvine Park Railroad

for their annual Christmas Train and holiday fun!

The day after Thanksgiving, November 27th, Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive!

They bring a whole park full of activities for the family,

including a magical train ride to see Santa himself!

Christmas Train tickets may be purchased to ride the train at a specific date and time — 

get in line and board the train any time during the hour for which you purchase tickets. 

Tickets may be purchased online ONLY and can be purchased beginning November 1st.

Our best tips for coming to the Irvine Park Railroad Christmas Train include:

1. Come Early! It can get crowded and it's more fun to visit Santa without a line.

2. Bring a jacket! It's always nice weather, but the nights get chilly!

3. Don't forget your camera! There are lots of fun photo ops!

Of course there is always a photographer on hand to take your photo with Santa

and they will have 5x7 photos available for purchase!

You can also purchase your Christmas tree while you're there!

The Christmas tree ranch also opens November 27th and you can pick from a variety of trees!

They offer Douglas, Noble and Grand firs from 4' to 12' tall!

In addition you can purchase Christmas tree stands, preservatives, wreaths and garlands too!

Cost	Christmas trees are individually priced; all trees contain a tag with the cost for that tree.
Parking	Visitors may park in the Irvine Park Railroad parking lot which is next to the Christmas Tree Ranch. The parking for Irvine Regional Park is $3.00 per vehicle on weekdays and $5.00 per vehicle on weekends. Parking for the Christmas Tree Ranch is free after 5:00 PM.

We're pretty excited around here!

It's finally time for one of our favorite events of the year...

the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch!

My daughter has been asking for months if it was time to go!

There are so many things we love to do there!

My son loves decorating the cookies!

Who wouldn't love a giant cookie with as much frosting and sprinkles as you want??

They always have the best face painting artists there,

ready to create whatever you want!

I love measuring the kids against the giant ruler to see how much they've grown!

How Tall This Fall??

The carnival games are a favorite as well!

The kids love the activities and prizes!

We all have a great time on the hay ride!

It's the perfect way to see the park and relax a little.

In addition they also have bounce houses, panning for gold, a hay maze,

tractor races, great food and a kid-friendly haunted house!

The Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch is open daily from

September 19th through October 31st

Weekdays 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Weekends 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

The parking fee for Irvine Regional Park is $3.00 per vehicle on weekdays and $5.00 per vehicle on weekends. Important parking information: As Halloween nears, we encourage visitors to plan to arrive early to help avoid crowds, particularly on the weekend.

GIVEAWAY: Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch 2015!

As soon as fall starts, one of our favorite things to do is visit the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch!

It is simply the best pumpkin patch in Orange County!

It is well run and so family friendly!

Not to mention the photo ops are the best, which is my first priority.

My kids are always up for a trip to Irvine Park 
and were so excited when I told them where we were going today!

Our first stop is the face painting booth!

The artists there are always so gifted and can do anything we want!

This year we are obsessed with Pac-man and unicorns.

The cookie decorating booth is a nice place to sit and take a break from the sun 

while the kids decorate giant cookies with as much frosting as their little hearts desire!

Our new favorite this year was the Hayride!

The breeze was nice and we all enjoyed bumping along on the hay bales 

and looking at the beautiful park and its wildlife.

The kids 5-8 can drive their own tractors, always a good time!

Next to the tractor races was another cool activity, panning gold!

The stream is full of little gold nuggets that you can find 
and take home in your own gold pouch!

One of my kids' favorites are the carnival games where they can win prizes!

There is also a bounce house, kid-friendly haunted house and hay maze!

And of course no trip to the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch 

is complete without a ride on the train!

while learning some amazing park history!

Have you been to Irvine Park Railroad at Irvine Regional Park? 

It is one of our family's favorite places to go in Southern California!

They have so many fun events all year long, and it's so beautiful there!
