GIVEAWAY: Knott's New Year's Eve Celebration!

Disclaimer: We were provided with media tickets to this event. All opinions are our own.

2014 is almost here and we're celebrating in style!
Knott's Berry Farm New Year's Eve Celebration
is going to keep us rocking out all the way into the New Year!

My husband is super excited since he can never keep me awake til midnight at home!
But this year, the whole family will be celebrating together!

Special one-night-only entertainment serves up family fun
for a variety of ages and interests, including the Midnight Party on the Midway!
Count down the New Year with music, stilt walkers,
party hats, and noisemakers for everyone.

And new this year, the Knott’s Sky Cabin, adorned with special lighting effects,
will dramatically rise to the top of the “K” tower to count down the final moments of 2013.
The cabin will reach the top at the stroke of midnight
and the skies above Knott’s will be ablaze with colorful fireworks!

There’s live entertainment everywhere you turn.
Adding to the line-up of can’t miss performers are:

• Krazy Kirk & The Hillbillies! From the deep country hills of Anaheim,
these boys will have toes tappin’ hands clappin’ and guts bustin’
during the best darn musical comedy show ever performed
on the Wilderness Dance Hall stage.

• The Reflexx, the ultimate 80’s party band, headlines the Calico Square Stage
with a blast to the past of radical music from Depeche Mode, Flock of Seagulls, A-Ha, and more.
And before The Reflexx take the stage,
DJ REESSO spins popular high energy music in the Calico Square.

• Comedy Magic of Dana Daniels will fill the Boardwalk Ballroom with uproarious laughter
as he combines clean comedy, astounding magic, and a psychic parrot in his show.

• Sharp Turn Ahead will headline the Camp Snoopy Theater
with the up-and-coming teen duo’s fresh combination of energetic acoustic guitar
and smooth keys, playing original tunes and covers of today’s pop hits.

• Salsa Dancing with Louie Angon, DJ JC & Snoopy invite you to show off your dance moves
at Fiesta Plaza and groove to the beat of this spicy music scene that’s Hot Hot Hot!

• Party in the Dance Hall is home to boot scootin’ line dancing
and two-stepping good times led by Dusty,
the line dance caller on the Wilderness Dance Hall stage (between Krazy Kurk sets).

• It’s Christmas, Snoopy will present encore performances into the evening.
Join Snoopy and his pals as they skate their way through the joys of the Holiday season.

• Snoopy’s Magical Nights of Lights features thousands of sparkling lights
and holiday music throughout Camp Snoopy all night long, beginning at dusk.

Knott’s New Year’s Eve Celebration is included with regular daytime admission.
Park hours are 10am to 1am.

Legoland California Holiday Snow Days & Winter Nights!

Are you looking for a great little getaway for your family over the holidays??
Legoland California presents Holiday Snow Days & Winter Nights!

Legoland California is located in San Diego,
where you can enjoy some of the world's best weather year-round!

And just for the holidays, Legoland California has 50 tons of snow
for your family to enjoy in the warm Southern California sunshine!

My kids loved playing in the snow, building Lego snowmen, and more!

One of our favorites was the 7 foot snow hills for tubing!
Grown-ups and kids can both enjoy speeding down the tube runs!

There were so many fun photo ops too!

We rode the Lego reindeer...

...and took pictures with Santa in front of the largest Lego tree in the world!

The best part is that Holiday Snow Days & Winter Nights are included
in your regular admission price, so you can enjoy the rest of the park too!

And don't forget our favorite Legoland treat, fresh churros in warm dipping chocolate!

If you really want to excite your kids, let them know you'll be staying the night next door
at the totally awesome, kidtastic Legoland hotel!

Some of our favorite things about the Legoland hotel:

* The Lego play area with thousands of legos that are washed every night!
* Bricks Buffet, hands down the best hotel breakfast buffet I've ever experienced!
* The disco elevators are a blast!
* The themed rooms with separate sleeping area for the kids are fun and comfortable!
* The treasure hunt activity that leads you to the treasure chest in your room!

Come check out all that Legoland California has to offer!
It is the most original theme park you'll ever experience!

Merry & Bright Printables!

My favorite theme for this holiday season has certainly been
MERRY & BRIGHT!

Everywhere I look the most creative bloggers
have incorporated it into their decorating and I love it!

I included it in our Christmas card and some printables for you!

This 8x10 is a quick decoration for your wall and easy to frame for a gift!

And this set of 4 would be fun to cut up
and include with gifts or just as a friendly note!

I think they would be a great note for a friend at any time of the year!

And I'm loving this print even more with a red frame and glitter polka dots!

Whatever you do, be Merry & Bright!

Christmas Ribbon Wreath!

I love ribbon. And wreaths. And lots and lots of color!!

Every since I helped my sister make a ribbon wreath a few weeks ago,
I've been color-scheming in my mind.
And since Christmas is here, I chose my favorite Christmas color combo!

You should know all the things I did wrong so you can do them right.

This beautiful creation will take one styrofoam wreath, not cheap,
and around 12 rolls of ribbon, also not cheap.
Plan your shopping around sales and not making a wreath on a whim!

And be prepared with hours and hours of television,
because this baby will take you forever!!

But I love it. Every loop of ribbon is my favorite.
I would do it again, and you know next time it will be a rainbow of colors.
Because I love ribbon. And I love rainbows even more.

Merry Christmas Ribbon Wreath to YOU!

GIVEAWAY: Light Up Links!!

Our house has been taken over by a new craze!
Light Up Links is definitely the new favorite toy for my kids!

My daughter is 5 and my son is 10,
and they both love them and play with them together.
That's some kind of miracle!
And my favorite part is that they are creating together
and never asking for more batteries!

They started out with the fantastic ideas in the book,
like wands, stars, domes and race cars!

Now my son has gotten adventurous and is using his imagination
to build all sorts of things like this jet!

Light Up Links is running a great special right now, just in time for Christmas!
After receiving my first set to review, I have already ordered more!
I can't wait to see what my kids can create with even more Light Up Links!

Check out this video for even more cool Light Up Links ideas and order yours today!
Your kids are going to love them!
Order by December 16th for Christmas delivery!

And now for the best part...
you can win a set for your family!!
GOOD LUCK!
