Kayla's Small Town Life "whipped up" some Cinnamon Whipped Cream!

Laugh, Love, & Craft gave us not one, but two peanut butter pie recipes!!

A Step in the Journey made pizza puffs and pumpkin cake pops, mmmm...bite size goodness!!

Mummy's Night Out!

This year Kyla (Funky Polkadot Giraffe) and I decided we should have a Halloween shindig.

Kyla designed this fabulous invitation!

We invited a few of our fellow crafty bloggers and friends!

The house was super spooky with spiderwebs and skeletons.

I made a fun wreath with dollar store pumpkins!

My super-crafty SIL helped me make this awesome Halloween subway art!

We made these with Kara-Noel at our last craft night!

And my son had to have this ugly guy from the dollar store!

Loved these cute snack buckets from Target's Dollar Spot!

Everyone brought a little potluck and we feasted!

Craft Time!!

Tasha teaches a fabulous tutorial on making fabric pumpkins!

I decided we should make them at the party!

Kyla made these fun Halloweeny headbands for all our guests!

Candy Corn Cutie!!

I love the colors of fall, and I love the colors of candy corn!!

Somehow, they're just so perfect together!

I had to make a tribute outfit.

TA-DA!! Here's my candy corn cutie!!

Mmm...mmm...Mondays: PESTO!!

This is me with my awesome sister Tricia.

She makes the best pesto ever.

The greatest thing is that she married the greatest basil raising man EVER!

I just happened to be at their house at the last big harvest.

Oh yeah, it was my lucky day!

And now it's yours!

Here is the recipe for my sister's fab pesto!

Pesto Sauce

2 C Fresh Basil Leaves

3 Garlic Cloves

2 Handfuls Pinenuts

1/2 C Olive Oil

3/4 C Parmesan Cheese

3 TBS Butter

Mix all ingredients in blender or food processor.

 

I love it tossed with hot pasta, in a cold pasta salad, on sandwiches, or just slathered on shepherd's bread!

SoCal Social!!

Wow!! I have been waiting to blog about this for a couple of crazy weeks now!

Does life ever get in the way of all your fun?!?

Anyway, so 2 weeks ago I had the opportunity to go to a blogger meet-and-greet and swaggariffic event in Orange, the SoCal Social!!

It was put on by the lovely ladies of Flamingo Toes, The V Spot, and 504 Main!!

That's also Mark Montano peeking out between them, our fabulous guest speaker!!

We started our day with a fab swag walk through Old Towne Orange!

Look at all the goodies we collected during the day!

The sponsors were AWESOME!!

The stores were all so cute!! Lots of antiques and one of a kind treasures!

We had a delightful lunch at The Filling Station Cafe, unlimited lemonade refills, yes!!

And some tasty little morsels from Miss Priss Cupcakes!

I got to snuggle the 2-week-old little darling of my friend Kara-Noel from Eli's Lids. I was in HEAVEN!!

After all the yumminess, Mark Montano gave us a bio/Q&A of his crafty adventures!

He was so super nice and genuine, and I was THRILLED to hang out with him all afternoon!

He even brought us new copies of his new book, and signed them!!

We were SO LUCKY!

These biscuits from Small Town Life are so easy to make, I think I could even do it!!

I adore chicken salad, and red grapes, and croissants! This RoCa and Company sandwich sounds awesome!

It's Just Called Spicy shared her super fast coffee cake in the microwave recipe, and I'm excited! I love coffee cake!!

I love pumpkin, and this cake from Copy Cat Crafter is so simple!!
